After a longer than anticipated hiatus from blogging, it feels good to be back in the computer chair and filled with thoughts to share.

This new incarnation of Perspectives represents a long-held theory of mine that in life you can have it all, just not all at the same time: Life is a series of journeys, transformations and reinventions. One set of experiences, or setbacks, leads you to the next plateau where you remain until you’re ready to go galloping off looking for the next challenge.

So here we go, launching once more into the blogosphere with conversations about everything from politics to women’s issues to absurdity to "life"…
